doranwenClick on any of the links to go to the following recs posts, which are mostly organized by fandom. Since only one post was made per day, the links go to the day rather than the post in order to preserve cuts.
I make no claims as to any of these being the *complete* list of all fics for any fandom. All fics on these lists, however, do have to meet a minimum writing quality and minimum personal tolerance for ships and themes. Beyond that, YMMV.
Favorite fics in these lists are fics I like re-reading for one reason or another. Some are well-written and others less so. Again, YMMV. :)

Recs by Genre/Trope
A multifandom set of recs organized by genre/trope. It's not a full list of every fic I love in those genres, but gives a good sampling, and most all the fics in that post are *very* good ones.
To see all recs posts created with the fic database, click on the "fic database" tag and look for recs posts. Some are generally kept up to date and thus linked above in their respective categories, while others were custom-created upon request or to fulfill a wish for recs at the time, and are not maintained (as such, they may be missing newer fics or have incorrect wordcounts for ongoing WIPs).
If there's a specific subset of recs you would like with a particular theme (for instance, all the Matrix fics with canon divergence, or every fic with emotional hurt/comfort, or even just all fics over 20k), please comment and let me know, and I'll make a post for that for you! It's nigh impossible to group fics by themes given the high overlap, but pulling all fics with a particular theme is a piece of cake. I can also sort a fandom by ships and then length, if that would interest someone.
