I listed any ships I thought were major below each fic, and all themes found within the fic are listed, so spoilers may abound. Please note that while I have been going through all the fics and marking the ending, I have not finished with this, so while likely all of these have a positive ending (given they all have fluff in them), if there's no note about the sort of ending it has, it means I haven't gotten to that fic yet.

Fics are sorted by fandom, and then by length, so you can use that to choose a fic based on how much time you have to read, if you want.

I haven't watched any of Season 4 yet, so I won't be adding many fics to this until I do. (I will endeavor to keep any ongoing fics updated as new chapters are posted, however.)

I have included my own fics in this post. I have marked them as favorites (because I do re-read them from time to time!), though there are several fics of mine in other fandoms that I do not consider favorites. Neither of them are marked as exceptionally well-written because I couldn't objectively evaluate my own work that way, even when I particularly like the way I wrote something.

AUex is an exchange that seems to be tailor-made to me. I love what-ifs, canon divergence, and a variety of excellent tropes, and with this exchange, I can indulge that love to my heart's content. I hope you have just as much fun writing for me as I will have reading what you write!

If writing a romantic friendship, I'd prefer the line be drawn at forehead/cheek kisses and cuddles; please reserve lip kisses for sexual relationships.

If a prompt requires something that's listed as a DNW, please follow the prompt rather than the DNW. :)

Also, if choosing between writing the characters as true to themselves as you can, vs. writing a particular trope or prompt, I'd prefer you to keep the characters true to themselves.


Don't worry if someone's written that particular idea before. My first real fandom was one where people used to write a dozen versions of the same TV ep, and I loved reading them all. There are never too many versions of the same story, in my opinion. Too few of these AUs have been written, and I want to see more of even the ones that have!

I don't go into a lot of my thoughts on most of these fandoms and characters (and please do not read anything into which sections are longer or not, I honestly love ALL of these), but I've requested all of them in other exchanges unless otherwise stated below, so if you want more info on the way I look at them, just filter my posts by the "fanfic exchange letter" tag to see other letters that have the same fandoms.

AUex is here!!!!!! I wanted AUex before it ever existed, and am so delighted that it has returned once again. I adore canon divergence so much, you have no idea. (But you will by the time you get to the end of this letter!) I did a lot of describing the awesomeness about each character and AU idea, and hope you're truly inspired by them. I hope you have a lot of fun writing for me. :)

I love characters who are strong, characters who have quiet depth, characters with an active inner life, characters who think and feel… You'll probably see this in the characters I requested. :)

DNW/Caution note: I'm not averse to mentions of sex, but I'd prefer the fic not focus on it or indulge in the physical feelings, because it can pull me out of the story so quickly. Emotional feelings/bonds are what I focus on in any ship. If a prompt requires a mention or implies sex in some way, feel free to include it as necessary as long as the focus of the fic is elsewhere.

Hurt/comfort is one of my favorite things, so when I heard of this exchange, I couldn't resist trying it out. :D Below I've done a lot of describing the awesomeness about each pairing or group, and gave a few prompts in case you find them useful. I hope you have a lot of fun writing for me. :)

What I love about relationships is all the emotional depth: vulnerability, loyalty, knowing someone so well you know what they feel/think/need, even just having someone there as an emotional "rock". The whole "not being alone" feeling is such a powerful theme.

I have requested "bullet removal" and/or "Cleaning/treating wounds" on some fandoms; the description you'd need to do for those will not squick me, so don't worry about it running afoul of my DNW for gore. It has to be very graphic to bother me.

DNW/Caution note: I'm not averse to mentions of sex, but I'd prefer the fic not focus on it or indulge in the physical feelings, because it can pull me out of the story so quickly. …are amazing. Seriously. So even though hardly anyone is going to see this (and I don't have enough recs here to make a real recs post), I have to post why they are awesome.

First, there is the FBI gift:

1,830 words of waffiness setting up Maggie's relationship with her husband till you can't help but feel the love between them, and then the phone call comes in with a WHAM and smashes her life to pieces, leaving you aching for her. Beautifully done!

And then there's the Cybergeddon treat I got in Madness:

I Saved the World and All I Got Was This Lousy T-Shirt
1,263 words of post-saving the world fic that feels SO spot on for characterization. There's Rabbit banter and the complicated relationship with her mom and references to Gustov still being out there… I also love that in this fic Chloe sticks to her guns with her decisions and doesn't take Frank back because he insisted she put him ahead of her career. (I often want the reverse with a ship - but this one doesn't feel like it deserves that kind of choosing-each-other-first - they just aren't that solid or that committed for it.) This is such a fantastic fic! (and the title is hilariously perfect)
