doranwenThis list of recs was created on request for a friend, who wanted physical hurt/comfort fics (the last post of hurt/comfort were emotional ones). [Obviously, some fics will appear on both lists, because physical and emotional hurt/comfort go together quite well in a fic. :) ] All themes in the fics are listed below fics so it is highly spoilery. If you don't want to be spoiled, leave a comment on my master recs post to ask for a list to be made without the themes.

As always with my db-generated lists, ratings are all converted to a single system for convenience:

This list contains all themes for each fic. Themes in my database cover everything from grammatical things like tense & person (I mark for present tense, first person, second person, and direct address), to format (poetry, songfic, 5+1, etc.), trope (fake couple, stranded together, etc.), general feel (angst, fluff, etc.), fic ending (positive, sad/unhappy, mixed/ambivalent, etc.), and warnings (major character death, non-con, violence/wounds, etc.). Please note that while some fic ending tags have been added, most fics in the database have not been tagged for fic ending yet.
Every fic on this list has the theme "hurt/comfort (physical)" in it.
This list was created with the themes of "incest" and "crack/parody" excluded.
I listed any ships I thought were major below each fic. If there are any minor/background ships you want to avoid, please leave a comment and ask for a list to be made for you. Note that ships may refer to one-sided or unrequited ones as well as to requited/mutual.
An important note: Due to my general state of busyness, I have not been able to keep up with most of the fandoms already in the database, and have many fics and fic updates to enter. Therefore, some fics which are listed as WIPs may actually be complete, and some more recent fics are missing which will end up in the database at some point.
The last post I sorted by author and then title, but it probably makes more sense to sort by wordcount. That way if you know you only have a limited amount of time, you won't click on a fic that's too long. (One hopes, lol.)
