Outsider/alternate POV fanfic requests

This isn't technically a fanfic exchange letter, but I'm tagging it as such because I want it to add to the collection of prompts available to write for in the rare chance someone from holiday_wishes decides to write something for me to fulfill a wish on my wishlist.

The prompts below are specifically for outsider/alternate POVs. I love canonical POVs but there's often so much to the story that isn't told, and much of it has to do with others' reactions. When the canonical POV is limited or unreliable because they aren't as perceptive, or totally don't understand the situation, or just weren't present for certain events, that's where I want to know "what was it like from this other character's POV?" and that's where these prompts come in.


Earth Girl Series - Janet Edwards

Where do I begin? Jarra is wonderful but she is so oblivious to things, and emotionally avoidant with some topics because of her earlier life experiences. And she changes SO much, her one choice to apply to University Asgard instead of Earth changes the universe and drastically transforms many lives.

I'd particularly love to see Riak Torrek's, Drago's, Jaxon's, Gemelle's or even Jarra's parents' POV at the point of the Honour Ceremony, since that's the moment they first have any inkling of where on Earth she is.

I'd love to see clan discussions from that time, or right after Jarra's parents die.

I'd love to see Drago's father's POV when he gets the word of Jarra's parents' death and prepares himself to deliver the news to Jarra.

I'd love to see Drago's POV when he learns Jarra's been recruited to the Alien Contact Programme.

Since by this point Drago has his own fighter team, we're not told exactly where Jaxon is, I'd love to see Jaxon's POV when he learns about the Alien Contact Programme (is it when Gaius Devon blabs all over the newzies?) and when he realizes Jarra's the main person focused on.

I'd love to see Gemelle's POV at the moment Riak tells Jarra about, where she realizes she needs to go undercover to save Jarra's life.


Hive Mind Series - Janet Edwards

I love Amber, but again, she has a limited POV. In this case, her POV is necessarily limited because she doesn't see everyone's minds at the time that they're thinking all these things.

I'd love to see Lucas's or Adika's POVs when they learn there's a new true telepath.

I'd love to see Buzz's POV when she realizes Amber's a true telepath and not merely a borderline one.

I'd particularly love to see the other telepaths' POVs when they learn about Amber, or maybe their Tactical Commanders. Knowing about the emergency measures Sapphire was taking, Penelope's POV might be particularly fascinating.

And I'd love to see just about anyone's POV of Amber herself, observing or commenting or discussing her when she's not around, or even ordinary people's POV of Amber when she's around, whether or not they know who she is. (She's not always in the average person's heads!)


Any length is good, though if you're inspired to write longer stuff, I will be especially delighted.
