This post is my complete list of recs for FBI: Most Wanted through Season 2, organized by major ships (and then author(. (For FBI: Most Wanted recs organized by time in canon & wordcount instead, go here.) I didn't originally have a post for this fandom because I had too few fics in my database for it, but I finally got around to adding all of the fics from Bastet5's series The Wild Hunt so now it's definitely over 30 fics. Note that any of their fics in the lists below are for that series and may be confusing if you aren't reading the series in order.

I haven't watched any of Season 3 onwards yet, so I won't be adding any fics to this until I do. (I will endeavor to keep any ongoing fics updated as new chapters are posted, however.)

I have tried not to spoil readers too much.

Most of the fics in this list are given with no information beyond author, title, rating, word count, major ships, and the summary the author gave it.

However, my database does store information on themes, which cover everything from grammatical things like tense & person (I mark for present tense, first person, second person, and direct address), to format (poetry, songfic, 5+1, etc.), trope (fake couple, stranded together, etc.), relationship type (beginning, established, etc.), general feel (angst, fluff, etc.), fic ending (positive, sad/unhappy, mixed/ambivalent, etc.), and warnings (major character death, non-con, violence/wounds, etc.).

If you would like to see the themes for the recs below, please comment and let me know so I can reply with that information. It is very simple to generate the recs for a large list of fics in such a way that all of the themes are listed.

Reflexively, Clinton turned to look at the fallen officer. Looking back, that action probably saved his life.

Adrenaline was also a dangerous thing, as Kateri finds out when she gets shot in the midst of a raid ... but does not know she's been shot. In other words, one of many reasons why Clinton has grey hairs.

Horrific crime scenes, horrific fugitives, some of the worst sleaze balls and scumbags to walk the face of the earth, and you had to study them, think like them, all to catch them. BUT you got the satisfaction of bringing them to justice personally. That doesn't make it any easier to sleep some nights, though.

March 2018 A murder caught on 911. A woman's dying breath reveals her killer ... her own husband. The team is set on the hunt for a doctor with military training who is deeply involved with organized crime and the drug trade. When the fugitive is unafraid of collateral damage, the sooner the team finds him, the fewer people die.

January 2019 As winter deepens, the team finds themselves on the hunt for a father-and-son team of armed robbers, who are on the run after escaping from a prison transport and killing all their guards. While the father is a hardened criminal, the son seems to be manipulated youngster in over his head. The case takes a personal turn for Jess, who sympathizes with the son, as the case brings up memories from his own childhood, but then the case takes another turn when it appears that the son might not be the victim after all ... but the ringleader.

Then comes a new case. A cyber-stalker with his van of horrors, a case that throws a claustrophobic Kateri for a loop. Hana, too, is oddly effected, and then comes the revelation that she, too, is the ongoing victim of a cyber stalker, who then offers help with the case but at a price she might not be willing to pay.

On a coffee run for the team before a mind-numbingly boring day of paperwork, Kateri finds herself alone in the midst of a situation she would usually boggle at a news headline about: a robbery in a Starbucks a stone throw's from Federal Plaza. Or, in other words, one way to get out of paperwork ... the hard way: get yourself taken hostage.

The team find themselves in a race against time, chasing a psychopath as the body-count rises, both to catch the perpetrator and to ensure the perpetrator actually faces justice for her crimes.

November 2014 It was a sad testament to Kateri’s life and her current relationships with most of her teammates within the FBI’s Organized Crime Division in New York that her Thanksgiving would be spent with one of the Bronx’s most notorious and up-and-coming gang bosses. That she got involved in a gang hit—possibly on him, possibly on her, possibly on them both—days later only added icing to the very unpleasant proverbial cake.
