Hee, I did a fannish creative thing last night! Only it wasn't L&C, it was YW--Young Wizards, a series of books by Diane Duane. They're awesome . . . (and may Nita/Kit shipping live forever!) Anyway, in the books there is the Wizard's Oath, that--when taken--makes the person into a wizard.

"In Life's name, and for Life's sake, I say that I will use the Art for nothing but the service of that Life. I will guard growth and ease pain. I will fight to preserve what grows and lives well in its own way; and I will change no object or creature unless its growth and life, or that of the system of which it is part, are threatened. To these ends, in the practice of my Art, I will put aside fear for courage, and death for life, when it is right to do so--till Universe's end."

I fiddled with Audacity and a gorgeous ambient song by Amethystium, and now have a song with the Wizard's Oath (voiced by me) running through it here and there. It's the first time I ever tried to do anything quite like it, but I don't think I did too awfully bad on it. Let me know if you want to hear. :D
